Subclass 190 - Skilled Nominated Visa

 

The Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) allows skilled workers who are nominated to live and work in Australia as permanent residents. Applicants need to be nominated by an Australian state or territory to apply.

Conditions:

  • Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to receive an invitation to apply for the Visa from a State or Territory Government.
  • Be nominated by an Australian State or Territory Government agency for this Visa.
  • Declare that you have a suitable skills assessment at the time of being invited.
  • Be under 45 years old when invited to apply for the Visa.
  • Score 65 points or more on the points test.
  • Meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements.
  • Meet the skill requirements.
  • Meet health requirements.
  • Meet character requirements.
  • Have not had a previous Visa canceled or refused.
