Partner Visa

Onshore Permanent Partner Visa (Subclass 801)

 

The Visa 820  allows the spouse or De Facto Partner of an Australian Citizen or Permanent resident to settle in Australia. This Visa is granted to applicants who have already been granted the Temporary Partner Visa (Subclass 820).

Conditions:

  • The applicant must currently hold a Temporary Partner Visa (Subclass 820) or a Subclass 445 Visa (if including dependent children in the application).
  • You must still be in a genuine and ongoing marital or De Facto relationship, and your spouse or De Facto Partner must continue to sponsor you.
  • You may still be eligible for Permanent residency if the relationship has broken down or your sponsor has passed away after the Subclass 820 Visa was granted and the Visa 801 is still under consideration.
