Onshore Temporary Partner Visa (Subclass 820)

 

 

The Visa 820  is a Temporary Partner Visa for applicants who are in Australia. This Visa allows the spouse or De Facto Partner of an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand Citizen who is currently residing legally in Australia to sponsor their spouse or partner (unmarried). With this Visa, the sponsored person will be granted Temporary residency in Australia.

Conditions:

  • In a marital or De Facto relationship with an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent resident who agrees to sponsor you.
  • You must be in Australia when you apply for this Visa and when it is granted (including any family members added to the Visa application).
  • You must not have had a Visa application refused or a visa canceled.
  • Both the sponsor and the applicant must be 18 years old or older.
  • Meet health requirements.
  • Meet character requirements.
