HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A MINISTERIAL INTERVENTION REQUEST?

When a Visa application is refused and all other legal options have been exhausted, requesting Ministerial Intervention is one of the final solutions available to the review applicant. However, there is no specific timeline for the Minister to review and decide on an intervention. In many cases, the process can take anywhere from 6 months to several years, depending on various factors.

Some cases may be excluded from the Ministerial Intervention process, such as individuals with criminal records or those who have been previously deported. You must ensure that you do not fall under any of these excluded categories.

If you have previously applied for Ministerial Intervention and were refused, you may not be eligible to apply again unless new and significant circumstances arise.

Please note that Ministerial Intervention is a complex and challenging process, and not all requests are accepted. The Minister has full discretion and is under no obligation to intervene in any case. Therefore, careful preparation and comprehensive supporting evidence are essential.
